Nokia 3310 launched in India

HMD Global took away all the limelight at the MWC Barcelona by unveiling the reboot feature phone Nokia 3310. Earlier this week, HMD Global also announced the release of Nokia 3310 in the Indian markets. As of today, you can buy this rebooted phone by Nokia for Rs. 3310 in India through offline stores. We have no idea if the device would be available to buy online as of yet but reports suggest that HMD Global might make these available after the offline sales pick up.

Now the question is, “Will the Nokia 3310 be able to reclaim it’s lost charm?”. With 125 million sales of the old Nokia 3310, we can only hope similar results for the new one. Much like it’s older model, the Nokia 3310 sports a round and curvy design. The iconic snake game, we spent hours playing is also present in this model.

Nokia 3310 Major Features

The Nokia 3310 comes in 4 colours – Warm Red, Yellow, Dark Blue and Grey. The warm red and yellow variants come with a glossy finish while the dark blue and grey variants come in matte finish. The new model comes with a curved screen that helps better readability in Sunlight is what the company claims. It also has a stunning standby 1200 mAh battery of 30 days and 22 hours of talk time. The major differentiators of this model are a headphone jack and a rear camera.

Nokia 3310 Specifications

Nokia 3310 comes with the newly designed Nokia Series 30 OS with a 2.4inch QVGA display. The internal storage is just 16MB but don’t let that disappoint you as you can expand it upto 32GB. The phone also sports a 3.2mm headphone jack which can play music and radio. The Nokia 3310 also contains a 2mp camera with an LED flash for taking pictures.

The verdict – Yes or No?

While the latest reboot of the iconic Nokia phone rekindles a little emotion along with Nostalgia, the question is whether to buy or not? Nokia 3310 will work great as a secondary phone where you just want to use it for calls. But if you are planning to ditch your Samsung or iPhone for this one, we wouldn’t recommend it. One more reason to buy this phone is that it is easy on our pockets as it costs just about Rs. 3310.
