It’s also nothing out of the ordinary to see them popping out the latest smart phone, iphone, ipad, or most recent gadget available to take pictures or record their trip. It’s just a sign of the times we live in and before I go on, I have nothing against this. Sometimes people are so caught up in trying to get that perfect shot with the great angle, the great backdrop, or record the perfect moment in the trip that they forget what the trip was for in the first place. To enjoy and savor priceless moments in life. Moments that are above the usual hectic and dreary existence of work.
But how could you savor such a moment if you’re too busy trying to record it for posterity?
There’s always going to be a ‘record function’ in your gadget but will there ever be a ‘savor function?’ Only you can press that button in yourself to truly enjoy the vacation you planned.
So just for a moment let’s not fret about the perfect shot or video to be uploaded online. Let’s still keep our gadgets because yes, they’re great and indispensable. But let’s also try to savor those moments in a vacation. After all, that’s what memories are for.
